FOGSI-Driven EAGLE Training Program in Laparoscopic Surgery
Empowering the Next Generation of Women’s Health Surgeons Through Skill, Precision and Mentorship
Akash Institute of Health Sciences and Research Centre was privileged to host a FOGSI-driven EAGLE Training Program in Laparoscopic Surgery, an academic and skill-enhancement initiative designed to strengthen the surgical capabilities of postgraduate students and young obstetricians and gynecologists.
The program was conducted with the wholehearted support and encouragement of the college management and institutional leadership, whose commitment to academic excellence and continuous professional development provided the foundation for this successful training initiative. The management’s vision of creating opportunities for hands-on learning and advanced surgical training reflects the institution’s dedication to preparing competent, confident, and compassionate healthcare professionals.
The training program brought together experienced surgeons and enthusiastic postgraduate learners in an interactive environment focused on the principles and practical aspects of laparoscopic surgery. Through expert demonstrations, surgical discussions, mentorship, and hands-on training, participants were encouraged to develop precision, confidence, and sound surgical judgment.
The program emphasized that excellence in laparoscopic surgery is not merely about technical skill. It is a combination of precision in the hands, clarity in the eyes, courage in the heart, and compassion in the mind.
The program witnessed enthusiastic participation from all delegates, including postgraduate students and faculty members. The academic sessions were complemented by an engaging and interactive quiz, ensuring a well-rounded learning experience.
