The Department of Neuroscience Technology, Allied Health Sciences, successfully organized World Epilepsy Day – NEURO SYNC 2026 on 9th February 2026, with the aim of spreading awareness about epilepsy and promoting better understanding among students and the community. The program featured esteemed speakers Dr. C. P. Ravikumar, Pediatric Neurologist from KIMS Hospital, Mahadevapura, Bangalore, and Dr. Guruprasad N, Consultant Neurosurgeon from Akash Super Speciality Hospital, who shared their valuable knowledge and clinical experience on epilepsy and its management. The main agenda of the event was to break stigma, address myths, and empower individuals through education and awareness. Several engaging and educational activities such as poster making, PPT presentations, reels competition, quiz, and skit on epilepsy awareness were conducted. World Epilepsy Day – NEURO SYNC 2026 successfully achieved its motto of educating students about epilepsy, clarifying myths and facts, and encouraging them to become advocates for epilepsy awareness in society.
