World Physiotherapy Day Celebration 2026

We proudly celebrated World Physiotherapy Day with an inspiring and meaningful programme highlighting the importance of physiotherapy in promoting movement, recovery, and a better quality of life. The occasion was graced by our esteemed Chief Guests, Prof. Dr. Ayyapan, BOS Chairman (RGUHS) & Vice Principal, Sanjay Gandhi Institute of Physiotherapy, and Dr. Bala Krishnan. We were also honoured by the presence of Dr. Naresh Shetty Sir, CEO, AIMS&RC, and Dr. Preetham Sir, Department of Nursing. The programme featured an insightful expert talk by Prof. Dr. Vijaya Kumar, Oxford College of Physiotherapy, enriching our students with valuable knowledge and practical insights. The event commenced with the Welcome Address by Dr. Sharvani Belle, followed by the Report of the Address by Dr. Aravindan, while Dr. Pavithra delivered the Vote of Thanks. We sincerely thank our respected Principal, Dr. Manjunatha H. Sir, all faculty members, the organizing committee, and non-teaching staff for their valuable support and dedicated efforts in making this celebration a memorable and successful occasion.
